Files
Files are not sent to MakeFileWork application servers for the browser-side tools described on this site. OCR may download its engine and language models from the permitted model/CDN hosts; the selected file itself is not sent to those model providers by MakeFileWork.
Product telemetry
The service records closed-category events such as workflow family, operation, detected file type, locale, surface, success/failure class, recovery quality and anonymous future-offer choices. Filenames, file contents and the free text you type into the assistant are rejected by the telemetry endpoint.
Hosting data
Like any hosted website, the hosting and network provider may process standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, time and requested URL for security and delivery. MakeFileWork currently uses Vercel for hosting.
Browser storage
A local timestamp named mfw_last_download may be stored in your browser after a completed download so a later return can be counted as repeat use. It is not an account identifier and is not sent as a user identity.
Payments and accounts
There are currently no user accounts or checkout on MakeFileWork. The post-download price choices are anonymous product research and do not charge you.
Contact and future changes
Before accounts, payments or marketing profiles are introduced, MakeFileWork will publish the additional controller/contact information and any consent controls required for those features. This page will be updated when processing changes.
