Supported
.tar, .tar.gz, .tgz and single-stream .gz files. Regular TAR files are extracted; symbolic and hard links are rejected.
Safety limits
40 MB input, 100 MB maximum expanded data, 25 MB per extracted file and 200 regular files. Absolute paths, parent traversal and unsafe links are blocked.
Local processing
Extraction happens in the browser when its built-in gzip decompressor is available. Your archive is not sent to a conversion provider.
