File too large, wrong format or wrong dimensions

The universal engine can combine JPG/PNG/WebP output, exact/minimum/maximum pixel dimensions, aspect ratio, JPG/PNG DPI metadata and KB/MB ceilings. It verifies the output after processing, so the download is checked against the measurable rules it understood.

HEIC and PDF inputs

HEIC can be normalized to an image before the requested constraints are applied. For a PDF requested as an image, this workflow transforms page 1 only and states that explicitly; use the dedicated PDF tools when you need every page.

What happens if the requirements conflict?

MakeFileWork stops and explains the conflict rather than silently violating a rule. If an exact pixel size cannot also meet an extremely small byte limit, it tells you instead of returning a non-compliant file.
